With numerous record-breaking slides and new additions, thrill-seekers can try the Odyssey of Terror, where they are swept up and down as they accelerate before a big drop, and experience near weightlessness before freefalling down a curved wall. The more daring can also try the Shockwave, the world’s highest waterslide that combines speed, power and rafting adventure.
There’s also Medusa’s Lair, the first duelling PIPElineBLAST® Water Coaster slide in the region, an intricate network of curves and bends, just like Medusa’s snake hair. Riders go through a series of dark tunnels, steep slopes and freefalls as they challenge each other to the finish. Immortal Falls is Dubai’s first thrill-seeking, gravity-defying cliff jumps - leaping down the Immortal Falls for those that dare to dive. WILD WADI WATERPARK
The perfect, fun-filled destination for families, thrill seekers and leisure time lovers. Perfectly designed with over 30 rides and attractions, Wild Wadi Waterpark offers 11 interconnected rides specially designed for the whole family to experience unforgettable adventures in one of Dubai’s most iconic water parks. The park is located on Jumeirah Beach Road and offers stunning views of Burj Al Arab Jumeirah, Jumeirah Beach Hotel and Madinat Jumeirah, Dubai.
Lay back and go with the flow on Juha’s Journey, a 4-metre wide, 360-meter long lazy river, offering guests the opportunity to take a leisurely swim or sunbathe in an inflatable ring as they drift along the river. Thrill seekers, on the other hand, can try the adrenaline-pumping slides, including the incredible Tantrum Alley. Seated on a four-person family tube, guests zoom into the first tornado where they will slide back and forth several times, then circle round and round the eye of the storm before hitting the second and third tornadoes, and finally splashing down the plughole into the pool. It is the first ride in the world to incorporate 3 tornadoes. Another super adrenaline-fueled ride is Burj Surj, where families seated on a circular rubber tube can enjoy, guests travel downhill to the bowl, where they are hurtled into two spiralling spins and then dropped into the slide, ending with a screaming splash in the pool. It is the first family ride in the world with 2 pools.
Wipeout and Riptide Flowriders offer a cutting-edge surfing experience with realistic wave effects, ideal for body boarding, knee boarding or surfing. Little ones will love the racing slides and water pistols at the Juha’s Dhow and Lagoon interactive play structure. Interactive and colorful, Juha’s Dhow and Lagoon has over 100 activities, including five body slides, two completely enclosed racing slides, water pistols and an enormous water dumping bucket.
