What is the mission of Kelmer Group?

Our mission is to support Italian entrepreneurs in their overseas expansion projects, here in Dubai where the group has had its main operational hub since 2007, as well as in other highly strategic international markets covered by our network of offices.

From your privileged vantage point, what are the added values of Italianness in the Emirati market?

On the Italian side, a transversal offering of products and services of unquestionable excellence, quality, and often with high technological and innovative value. On the Emirati side, a consistently high level of appreciation for Made in Italy products.

What is the commercial spirit of Dubai and how can an Italian company best fit into it?

Dubai has solidified its position as a regional hub and gateway to international markets over the years thanks to its infrastructure, tax regime, and strategic location. The significance of this role has further grown in recent years due to a series of successful domestic policies and the customary ability to make the most of international geopolitical events, consistently reaffirming itself as a ‘safe harbor’ and a natural business accelerator.

Traditionally, Kelmer’s services focus on tax, legal, and accounting aspects. In recent years, especially in a coveted and competitive environment like the UAE’s, Internationalization services have become increasingly sought after and successful for entrepreneurs who require a structured approach to the local market. We provide highly accurate matchmaking, resulting in trade missions where the client has the opportunity to meet with their relevant counterparts, market research for specific sectors, and more.

Having lived here for over 20 years, I am deeply connected to classic Dubai, to that ‘city of contrasts’ where those very contrasts embody its essence, richness, and denote its unique character. I have too many favorite spots that grow in tandem with the city’s continuous expansion; therefore, I’d rather select three heartfelt situations: chasing sunsets on Jumeirah beach, stargazing atop Al Qudrah desert dunes, alley-strolling in old Bastakiya.
